Rick Sadowski: Duchene on trip to Minnesota, will try to skate Monday

Need to be up 3-1 coming back for game 5 in Denver. obviously a sweep would be incredible, but I think its going to be a tough game 3.

lets not rush Duchene. If we can get past this series without having to force him back early, that will set us up nicely for the second round.

If we could steal a game in Min it would be great. Going to be tough to play in their building.

I really liked PA's play last game. He is slowly getting his game back and he kept it simple and made some good plays when he was on the ice. If he can get his game going it can really help free up RoR

Thankfully we have the cap room to do so, and add other pieces as well. Remember when everyone was crying that the owners were not spending money on making the team competitive? Hell even the media was poopting on us for being a cap floor team during our rebuild.

Even suggesting that we would never be a team that spends near the cap, and the hay days of Colorado being long over with, never to return because our ownership didn't care anymore.

But that's what you get when teams like FLA/BUF are going spending crazy and sniffing the playoffs, although not even close to being competitive either.

I love being able to point back at that time, and say I was objective about how the owners were handling contracts and team salary.

Does anyone else have a REALLY bad feeling about Min trying to have Cooke stop Mackinnon? There is no way in hell he will be able to stop the kid and then we will have one of the dirties players in the game, frustrated, playing against the future super star.

not too worried, MacK is too smart and fast for cooke to even be a factor, plus Cooke hasn't don't anything questionable in a long long time (I think the Karlsson cut was an unfortunate accident). Cooke wouldn't even get any position or body contact on the kid. MacK's line is torching them, they need to figure out a way to stop the line or match them, and cooke won't be matched against them with last change in Minny.

Its more guys like Torres that are wild card reformed players, he hits hard and on the line. Thats the sort of guy you worry about.

I think O'Reilly is going to be the X-factor in game 3. Everyone is so concerned with Landy, MacKinnon, and Stastny, I think it will open the ice up a little for him.

Maybe, we already saw Cooke take a slapshot at EJ well after the whistle was blown at the end of game 1. Now sure how in control of his temper Cooke can be if he gets frustrated against Mac

He played great in Game 1. The better PaP gets as time goes a long, I think will give RoR more space to work with and thus a bigger impact on the game.
